New Years Eve Makeup!

Its the party season of the year and I wouldn't be a beauty blogger or makeup artist without getting excited about having an excuse to go all out and do glamorous makeup! Today I did a makeup look perfect for a NYE party, of course I had to use glitter and finished it with a nice red lip.

Eyes:
ABH Brow Wiz
ABH Tinted Brow Gel
Too Faced Glitter Glue
Illamasqua Ore Pigment
Barry M Dazzle Dust in 27
Rimmel Liquid Eyeliner
MAC Teddy Eye Pencil
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Maybelline The Falsies Mascara
Amy Childs Eyelashes in Flirt

I didn't actually start off with the eyes doing this look however it would have been a lot easier to clean up fall out if I did so I would recommend starting with eyes first. I filled in my brows and set them with the brow gel first. I then applied the glitter glue all over the eyelid and around the inner corner of the eye. I applied the Ore pigment all over the lid using my finger. I find using my finger is best when working with pigments as I get less fallout. I then lined the eye ending with a wing in the outer corner with the liquid liner. I used a little bit of bronzer into the crease just to blend around the pigment ad add a little definition. I used the brown eye pencil in the lower water line and along the bottom lash line blending it slightly with a brush. To highlight the inner corners as an extra bit to the eye I used the Barry M dazzle dust. To finish I applied mascara and added my lashes.

Face:
MAC Fix Fluid Foundation
MAC Pro Longwear Concealer
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
Urban Decay Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl
MUFE Camouflage Concealer

I started with mixing a pump of foundation and a pump of pro longwear concealer for the base, this created the right shade I needed, I blended it over the skin with a beauty blender. I concealed under my eyes with he collection concealer and concealed and blemished with the MUFE concealer. To finish the base I set everything with the loose powder. I didn't use any blusher as I didn't want there to be too many colours going on so I just used bronzer over the cheeks and around the face to add warmth. To finish I applied a little bit of the highlighter to the top of the cheekbones.

Lips:
Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in In Love With Ginger

I applied the lipstick all over the lips and blended the edges with a lip brush. You could use a translucent powder of the top to make it matte but I like the shine with this look.

So that's my NYE makeup look, Its Quite simple to do and would look great on anyone. I hope you like it,

Blogmas - week 4!

Blogmas has finally come to an end and this is my final post! I feel like I have not stopped running around for the whole of December, however from monday the official countdown began and I finally had time to chill out and spend time with my family.

I had such a nice day on Christmas day, I got up early and we opend our prezzies then I helped my mum cook the famous Christmas dinner. Its the one thing I always look forward to and it was so tasty. After diner we were all so full we ended up falling asleep in front of the tv. I loved spending the day just looking through all the new thing I got and eating nice food and watching great films. We didnt do much at all that day but I think thats what I loved most.

Blogmas Week 3!

Hey everyone hope you are enjoying the final countdown to Christmas! I feel alot more organised today I can finally enjoy the week. Monday to Thursday I didnt do much really just figuring out what I still had to get. Last weeks post I stated I wasn't going to dare brace the shops again however that never worked out!

Friday I had my christmas hair cut with my mum in town. We decided to go for dinner and then just go for it with the shopping! I actually had a really nice day out it wasnt too busy with other the shoppers and I found everything that I wanted (for once).

This weekend has been a really busy one! Saturday I got up at the crack of dawn and faced the Christmas food shop which was probably the worst thing ever but it had to be done! I then went to have my nails done for Christmas, I had to have them all glittery of course!! After an appointment with a client I then got ready for a girls night out, we gad a really fun night out and its just what I needed after a mega busy day!

Yesterday nursing my little hangover I headed to liverpool in the morning for a night away with my boyfriend. Had a really relaxing time the hotel was lovely with a spa too which really helped destress me. We had a lovely walk around the city and went for a meal. Liverpool is one if my favourite cities and it looked so pretty all decorated at night!

I came home today after another walk around the shops and ive sat and wrapped the last of my preasents! I could jump up and down with joy! After such a manic week my weekend was amazing and now I can finally relax in my pjs and have a family night in.

With all my presents wrapped under the tree, cards written amd enough food to last a lifetime... I cant wait for Christmas.

Two Favourite Tools For Applying My Base!

Hey everyone, this week is totally manic for me and im sure its the same for you too. Im struggling to to makeup posts as they take so much time so ill get more christmassy ones in before the big day. Today I thought I would share the two things I always use for applying my base. When I do other peoples makeup I use all kinds of different brushes however for me personally I always use these two.

First of all its the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. This is one on my all time favourite brushes. Its ability to appply all types of cream and liquid products make it really versitile. I find with this brush I can create a very natural sheer coverage by using circular buffing motions and really working the products into the skin. However by using more of a dabbing motion and pushing product onto the skin I can build up a nice full coverage for nights out. I like that its quite dense so it doesnt absorb alot of excess product and its also really easy to clean. Its a really useful and inexpensive brush I use it to apply any cream or liquid product.

The second tool I use is the very well known Beauty Blender. This is a sponge which you squeeze under a cold tap until it doubles in size then it is ready to use. It creates a flawless base by using dabbing motions pushing and blending product over the skin, you can also apply lose pwders with it to.  I like to use this as its really comfy and kind over the skin and doesn't drag or pull the skin. This also makes it really good for blending out concealers or other products you apply over foundation as it doesn't disturb anything you have already applied. It is reusable as you can clean I personally like to clean it after rvery use so it doesnt stain. Its a really nice and effective way of applying your base to create that flawless finish and I could not be without it.

Blogmas - Week 2

Its getting closer to the big day now and I cant wait to de-stress and have nothing to do for a day! This week I've been running about buying more presents. At the start of the week I decorated my boyfriends Christmas tree it made me feel so festive I made my dad go out the next day and buy ours for home. I got all the decorations down from the loft and started with the lights, only to turn them on and realising all 3 sets had broke (its about time I think they were older than I am). Really it was a good excuse to go shopping, so I got my lights and a few more bits I needed and that afternoon put all the decorations up. The tree and the fireplace look really cosy and festive now!

I also baked some Christmas biscuits they were so delicious even though they were a bit scruffy. I love baking even though everything gets eaten so quickly in my house. Ill leave the link to how I made them here. Yesterday I finally had time to do a makeup post which are my favourite posts to do for you. It was a nice party look which you can see here

To finish off my week I went to the trafford centre today, it was pretty manic but managed to get almost everything I needed. I think that is the last time I will be going shopping before Christmas now. I cant really stand being in crowds and standing in queues so thankfully I only have two more gifts to get which I am ordering later then I am done!

I've finished my night by wrapping the last of my presents and putting them under my pretty tree. I'm now going to put my feet up and have a nice cup of tea!

Christmas Glam!

Hey guys, I finally got round to doing a makeup look for you today! I chose something a bit different and glittery for Christmas I think it would look ace for a night out over Christmas and New Years, hope you like it.

Face:
MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation
MAC Pro Longwear Concealer
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
Becca Simmering Skin Perfector
Urban Decay Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Illamasqua Blusher in Lover

I first mixed a pump of foundation and a pump of pro longwear concealer for my base. I chose the two firstly to create the right shade as the shade of foundation I have is way too yellow for me, secondly it gives a very full coverage. I then concealed my under eyes with the concealer and set only that area with the powder. I contoured the cheekbones with the bronzer and around the forehead then applied a little blusher on the apples of the cheeks. I finished my applying the cream highlighter to the top of the cheekbones and blending toward the temples.

Eyes:
Benefit Brow zings
Benefit Gimme Brow
Tropic Eyeshadow Palette in Brown Eyed Girl
MAC Pigment in Old Gold
MAC Pigment in Reflex Gold
MAC Fix+
Maybelline The Falsies Mascara
Benefit Bright Eyes Pencil

I started my doing my brows I decided to use powder for once then I set it with the gimme brow. To make the gold liner I sprinkled a small amount of the old gold pigment into a little dish then sprayed fix+ over it, I then mixed it onto a paste and there is my gold eyeliner! So I lined the top of the eye and created a wing, and then I patted a little reflex gold pigment over the top for an extra sparkle. I used the grey toned shadow out of my palette and used a little in the crease and blended to the point of my wing then used a little on the lower lash line. I used the lightest shade to highlight the brow bone and lined the water line with bright eyes pencil. I finished with mascara top and bottom.

Lips:
MAC Nightmoth Lip Pencil
Sleek Lipstick in Exxxaggerate 792
MAC Reflex Gold Pigment

First I used the lipstick all over the lips, I then used the lip pencil to neaten my lines and filled in the outer edges. I finished by dabbing some reflex gold pigment to the centre of the lips top and bottom. This gives an extra pop and perfect for party season.

So that's my look for today hope you like it...

Buttery Christmas Shortbreads!

Hey and welcome back! Doing a little bit of a different post today, I have done lots of Christmassy things today which I will share in Sundays blogmas post. I wanted to do a makeup look today but I ran out of time so I thought I would share these that a baked today. I am in no way a chef and definitely in no way good at decorating as you can see but I love shortbread and they are really easy to make, fun and very yummy!

Ingredients:
250g Butter
110g Caster Sugar
360g Plain Flour

This is a big mixture which I usually get around 19 biscuits. I have to make a large amount else they don't last very long in my house!

1. Cream the sugar and butter together. I sometimes warm the butter very slightly first to soften it if its been in the fridge.

2. Sift in the flour and stir all the mix together until its smooth.

3. Roll out onto a work surface 1cm thick and cut out your shapes.

4. Pre heat your oven to 190oc

5. Place your shapes onto a grease proof tray (you may need two) sprinkle with a little sugar and chill in the fridge for 20mins.

6. Bake in the oven for 15-20mins until they turn a pale gold colour.

7. Place them to cool then have fun decorating!

So there is my buttery shortbread biscuits hope you like and try them out!

Lush - New Charity Pot!

I got a tester of this Hand and Body lotion from Lush about a month ago and loved it as soon as I tried it. I have ran out of the tester so yesterday when I went Christmas shopping I picked some up from my local Lush store. It comes in a larger size to however I prefer the smaller ones. Its such a lovely rich and creamy lotion and its perfect for this time of year. It relieves my really dry skin making it look more glowing and healthy. I mainly use it for my hands as they get so dry, its the best hand cream I have ever used it keeps them really hydrated. Amazingly since using this the eczema on my hand has gone! Its just a really nice every day lotion, it feels nice when you apply is not too sticky and greasy and when it has soaked in, it keep my skin so soft and nourished. I love that it has a lot of natural ingredients and as a bonus the full price of this product minus taxes goes to the charity's that Lush support.

Blogmas - Week 1!

Christmas is my favourite time of year and it has been the first week this week so I thought I would share what I have been getting up to.

There was sales on last weekend due to black Friday which a lot of stores changed it to cyber weekend to carry the sales on until Monday. I only made one purchase, a new winter duffle coat from Warehouse its so warm and the dark green colour makes it look really festive. I will try to get a picture up of it at some point. Im happy I got it as its gone soo cold in the UK now. That's all I got really there was no way I was venturing to the shops I saw on the news how busy and crowded it was to I stuck to the internet.

During the week I have been looking for inspiration on the internet for gift ideas, I did have an idea what I wanted to get people so I just made sure I knew which shops had the best for the best price. I like to write lists and make sure I know what I want to get, I hate not feeling organised :)

It wouldn't be Christmas either without visiting a Christmas market! Yesterday I went to Birmingham to the Christmas market and it was so fun and festive! Birmingham is one of my favourite ones to visit, as its so close to the Bullring you can also do a spot of shopping too! It was all lit up so pretty we had a really nice time, and I ate so much yummy food I could barely move when I got home. They definitely get you in the charismas spirit and its something all the family can enjoy.

Today I was on a mission to get some Christmas shopping done! Even though I hate busy shops and crowds, I do like to see what im purchasing in person, rather than shopping on the internet. So me and my mum got up  really early and headed  to town to get some done! I managed to do more than half my shopping, there was so many really nice gift sets and stocking fillers. Debenhams and boots were my favourite for gift sets and quirky gifts they had some really good ideas, Although boots had ran out of a few thing (or not replenished stock) which was a bit disappointing for a Saturday morning. I also did really well with vouchers and card points. I always try and save up points and vouchers for Christmas, and they have saved me so much money today!

So that is my week so far, I haven't stopped running around all day but I feel so much more organised now! After fitting in the weekly food shop on the way home I had a huge mug of tea, ate lots of chocolate cookies and caught up on Made In Chelsea! Please share your blogmas posts too!

5 Product Face!

Today I didn't have much time to do my makeup, im not doing anything special in particular but im visiting family and popping out with my mum so I needed a little bit of something to make me look alive. As I sat down I thought I would try and do my makeup with as small amount of products as possible, so I reached for my favourite products I use all the time and picked out which ones I would use from there. This is really handy to do if your in a rush or you just don't feel you need a full face of makeup on, so this is what I chose:

Revlon Photo Ready Foundation - I like this as an every day foundation its cheap and I love the coverage and finish, it has a nice glow to it too so its really comfy on my dryer skin.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer - Love the coverage and feel of this, it lasts all day and I have mentioned it in many posts. I chose this today as I don't need to set it with powder.

Benefit Hoola Bronzer - I used this to warm up the face by using it over the areas that would naturally catch the sun

Revlon Highlight Palette in Rose Glow - I used this as my blusher it gives a sheer wash of colour and a night highlight at the same time.

Benefit Gimme Brow - When I don't have time to do my brows I use this its quick and easy to use it fills in any gaps and sets all the hairs in place.

So there is my 5 product face today what would yours be?

Fridays Face Off!

So its black Friday today, I hadn't heard of this before however I have been bombarded with emails about offers and discounts all day so before I went hardcore with the internet shopping I thought id show you my makeup.

Face:
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector
MAC Sudio Fix Fluid Foundation
Cream Foundation Palette for contouring
Urban Decay Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Revlon Highlight Palette in Rose Glow

I mixed the illuminator with the foundation as I find it a bit drying on its own. I then used my cream foundation palate to contour the cheeks and conceal under the eyes. I then Set everything with powder using my beauty blender. I finished by applying the bronzer to the cheeks, around the forehead and down the neck and used the highlighter as a sheer blusher.

Eyes:
ABH Brow Wiz Pencil
ABH Tinted Brow Gel
Benefit They're Real Mascara
L'Oreal Exaggerate Eye Pencil in Perfect Plum
Benefit Bright Eyes Pencil
Tropic Eye Shadow Palette in Brown Eyed Girl

I filled in my brows with my brow wiz pencil then set with the brow gel. I then used the purple eye pencil to line the top on the eye and ended it a flick, I used a small smudge brush lightly over it to soften it. I then lined the lower lash line the went over it again with the same brush. I lined the water line with the bright eyes pencil to make them look a bit more awake and open. I finished with mascara top and bottom.

Lips:
Illamasqua Matte Lip Liquid in Surrender

I went over the lips with this let it set and then went over with a second coat.

How To Contour and Highlight!

Contouring and highlighting has become a massively popular way of doing makeup today. Kim Kardashian West was one of the first we saw create a flawless and perfect face shape using this method, her makeup artists really are magic! No one ever really knew how to create it until makeup artists started to share their little secrets and tips on how you can create a similar look yourself. Now it is so popular and the base of many peoples makeup routines I thought I would show a really easy way of how I do it. I by no means think I am perfect! Its quite basic but creates more definition to the face. If it helps any of you then that's a bonus!

So first of all contouring and highlighting is a way of emphasising certain areas of your facial features or with an illusion creating what you don't actually have. At the same time as hiding and drawing attention away from other areas. When we highlight we want that area to be bright and pop out, when we contour we are creating a shadow and pushing back areas.

So lets get started, first of all as everyone's face shapes are different, areas which you highlight and create shadow will always be different even though the basic concepts are the same. So practice and find what suits you best.

I firstly applied my foundation and concealed my under eyes, I prefer to do this first as I can colour correct and create an even base to start with. You can contour and highlight with any products weather it be creams or powders but here ive used creams to make it easier to show you. When choosing a shade of product the easy way is for the highlight one or two shades lighter than your foundation and for the contour one or two shades darker.

First for contouring, we want to apply this firstly down and into the hollows of the cheeks, this will push that area back creating the illusion of fuller cheek bones. Secondly from the temples around the top the forehead by the hairline, this will create a smaller forehead and more round shape. Down the sides of the nose and across the tip will put those areas into shadow therefore when we highlight the nose will appear shorter and smaller. Finally along the jawline, this will make so the face will not appear as long.

Now to highlight. Firstly we need to go under the eyes, by drawing a triangle shape like this will help emphasise and create the sharpness of the cheekbones. Down the centre of the nose to help create the illusion of a smaller nose. The centre of the forehead to help lift that that area and together with the contour will create a more round and smaller forehead. Under the brow bone to emphasise the arch and lift the brows. Finally the centre of the chin and under the cheekbone contour, this will help create that sharp jawline, making the face appear not as long.

The final and most important step is the blending, I like to use a damp beauty blender but you can use anything you like. The key is to blend the edges of the product we have applied so there is no harsh lines. We do no not want to blend them too much as we will lose the effect we are trying to create!

As you can see here the face has more definition and more warmth than before we started. Try to pic the highlight or contour to blend first then go onto the other so you are not mixing the shades up too much.

So that is how I contour and highlight, you can make this even more defined by going over with powders, this will make it more distinctive and also set the products in place all day. Hope this was helpful.

Fall Makeup!

Welcome back, today I did a really easy wintery makeup. My eyes are playing up in this weather they are so sore :( so I didn't really fancy a lot of eye makeup so I went for a bolder lipstick which creates a nice effect.

Face:
BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl
MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Revlon Highlighting Palette in Rose Glow

I first mixed a pump of foundation with a pump of the skin perfector to make it into a really dewy foundation. I did this because I have really dry skin and last time I tried this is was just too dry on me so mixing this in makes it really glowing and more comfortable. If you have oily skin naturally you wont need to do this. I then concealed under my eyes. I set the under eyes with the loose powder but nowhere else as I wanted to keep the glow from the foundation. I finished with Bronzer to warm up the face and the highlighter, which I used as a blusher.

Eyes:
No7 Eye Shadows in True Gold and Truffle
MAC Teddy Eye Pencil
ABH Brow Wiz
ABH Tinted Brow Gel
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Amy Childs False Lashes in Flirt

I did my brows in the usual way. For eyes I first applied the sheer gold eye shadow to the inner corner of the eye and the eyelid. I then thinly lined the top lash line with the brown eye pencil. I applied a little bronzer into the crease to tie in with the bronzer on the cheeks, I find it evens everything out. I finished with a small amount of truffle eye shadow on the bottom lash line just to add a bit of definition. I finished with mascara and false lashes.

Lips:
MAC Diva Lipstick

I applied this all over the lips.

Hope you like this easy wintery makeup

MAC Prep and Prime Highlighter!

I brought this a couple of weeks ago and thought I would do a little first thoughts post. This is the MAC prep and Prime Highlighter. It is a highlighting concealer which is used to brighten areas such as the under eyes, forehead, chin or down the nose or anywhere you want to stand out whilst doing your makeup. I have tried many highlighting pens like this in the past and I have seen a lot of people using this so I gave it a try.

It is a pen highlighter which you twist at the bottom and a little brush tip which you apply the product with. I don't think that these pens are the most sanitary however I do like that you can see how much you are applying with the twisty bit. This is not a concealer for covering blemishes etc this is a brightening concealer therefore once I have done my foundation and concealed my dark circles, I will then use this to highlight and brighten parts of the face I wish to stand out. It does come in different shades too, I chose this shade as I have a more yellow under tone to my skin so this works well with my base. It is a more thicker consistency to other pens I have used before however it does blend easily. I find it to be quite full coverage and it does give a really nice finish, but you can sheer it out with a damp sponge if you want to. I don't find it to settle in any lines and it looks nice set with powder or left on its own. Overall im pretty pleased I like its staying power and coverage and its perfect for creating that perfect highlight and contour!

Dark smokey eye!

No makeup look is more popular than a smokey eye and they don't have to be really difficult and need loads of different products. I like to do makeup on my blog that I know anyone can achieve so here I a really simple way of doing a smokey eye.

Face:
MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation
Illamasqua Skin Base Lift Concealer
MAC Prep and Prime in Light Boost
Sleek Blusher in Chantilly
Urban Decay Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder
Benefit Hoola Bronzer

I applied the foundation all over the face then concealed my under eyes with the skin base lift concealer. I highlighted the under eyes and chin and forehead with the prep and prime then set with the finishing powder. I used the bronzer to the hollows of the cheeks and around the hairline and applied blusher to the cheeks.

Eyes:
Avon Black Eye Kohl
Collection Eyeshadows, Matte Brown and Matte Skin Shade
Mac Eye Pencil in Teddy
Maybelline The Falsies Mascara
ABH Brow Wiz Pencil
Benefit Gimme Brow

I started with doing my brows in the usual way. I then used a bit of tape on the outer corner of the eyes to help create a straight wing. I applied the black eye pencil all over the lid into the crease and under the eye too then blended it out at the edges. I then used a brown eye shadow into the crease and around the eye to smoke it out and make sure there and no harsh lines. I then highlighted under by brows with a skin coloured shadow. I added more and blended more until I was happy with it. I lined the water line with the brown eye pencil and went over the top lash line with the black pencil again to finish. Last but not least I applied mascara to the top and bottom lashes.

Lips:
NYX Lip Pencil in Pale Pink
MAC Lipstick in Fleur D'Coral

I applied the lip pencil all over the lips and patted the lipstick all over the top.

So that is my dark smokey eye I hope you like it!

Whats In My Essentials Draw?

Along with my makeup collection, I have a draw in my table full of random essentails that I use on a day to day basis. They are the more boring side to makeup but I could not be without these ramdom bits. Im sure you all have most of these on your makeup tables too. Although I do use most of these in my freelance kit these are the essentails in my personal draw.

Tissues - I always keep a box of tissues to hand. Im always making a mess I need to quickly clear up or wipe over bottles and things once ive used something. I even use tissues to catch fallout when doing my eyeshadow. They always come in handy.

Cotton Buds - Again im sure you all use these quite often too. I use these to cleaning up the edges of eyeliner or lipstick or errasing little mistakes. These are also handy to scoop out cream products from containners which keeps them more sanitary.

Cotton Pads - I use these mainly to remove makeup and nail varnish, or to wipe over with toner etc. they come in handy all the time and I use these every day.

Face Wipes - I dont usually use face wipes to remove my makeup but sometimes I do when im in a rush. I also keep these on hand to clean up little mistakes when doing my makeup.

Hand Wipes - im always mixing products on the back of my hand and swatching them so I always keep hand wipes to wipe them clean after.

Water Spray - I always keep water spray in case I need to dampen a sponge or brush to apply product. I use it mainly to keep my beauty blender damp when doing foundation and concealer.

Alcohol Spray - I dont disinfect my products every time I use them as I no they are only used on me however once in a while I will wipe over my products and spray them with alcohol. I use this on my brushes every time I clean them too

Brush Cleaner - This is really handy when changing eyeshadow colours or blushers and swapping between products etc. You can quickly clean any product off them and use straight away as this drys instantly.

Witch Hasel - I keep this handy as it is really good if you find you are irriteted by a product. It sooths the area nicely and stops irritation.

Lip Balm - I always use a lip balm before applying makeup to make my lips nice and soft for lipstick.

Micellar Water - I like to take my makeup off sometimes with this as its really kind to the skin. Its nice to use this over the face before moisturiser and makeup to make sure the skin is clean. Mainly I use it for cleaning up edges with my cotton buds.

Scissors - You never no when you will need a pair of scissors. You usually cant find them when you need them so I always keep some in my draw.

So that is my random essentials I use all the time, please share yours below too!

Tresemme Renewal Hair and Scalp Treatment!

If I have be honest im not someone who takes great care of my hair. I shampoo and condition and that is it for me really apart from a little heat protection spray too. Ive always been quite lucky with my hair its quite thick and I don't have too many problems with it. I don't buy hair products mainly because I don't like the feel of them in my hair but I do like to buy the odd treatment now and again just to hydrate it especially in the winter time.

This is the Tresemme Renewal Hair and Scalp treatment I got these from Asda for £4.98 and you get 4 in a pack. It is a wash out treatment which you use after you have shampooed similar to a concentrated conditioner, is what it reminds me of. You massage it into your hair and scalp and leave in for 60secconds then wash out. You get 15ml in each sachet which is a great amount, I have pretty long hair and there is more than enough.

I really like that it is simple to use and that it doesn't involve leaving any product in your hair. The scent is really nice and fresh I can still smell this a few days after I have used it. I could tell after the first time I used how hydrating it was, my hair was super soft and the ends were not dry at all. It says on the box that this product contains Tea Tree extract and Sunflower Seed oil which nourishes the scalp at the cellular level, leaving hair 3 times stronger. I don't know how to test the strength of hair however I have found the overall feel of my hair to be improved.

I think this is a really nice product. I use this ever 3 weeks or so and I love the results. Split ends haven't appeared, it feels much more fluffy and hydrated and it overall looks more healthier and shiny. I love the way my hair feels when I use this and by using this on a regular basis I feel my hair has improved a lot.

Purlple Party Eyes!

Welcome back to my little blog. Im still working on my lighting and background. I went to pick up some fairy lights to hang up behind  today but there was none I liked so will have to have a hunt for some. Today I did a really easy party makeup. Its sparkly which is perfect for the festive season. I did something that anyone will be able to do and it doesn't involve that much effort either :)

Face:
Revlon Photo Ready Foundation
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel
MAC Prep and Prime in Light Boost
Urban Decay Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Sleek Blusher in Chantilly

I didn't do anything special really just applied foundation first then a little of the collection concealer. I did a little contouring with the cream bronzer and highlighted the under eyes forehead and chin with the Prep and Prime. I set everything  with the loose powder then applied bronzer and blusher to the cheeks.

Eyes:
ABH Brow Wiz Pencil
Benefit Gimme Brow
L'Oreal Black Gel Liner
Maybelline The Falsies Mascara
NYX Light Purple Shadow (out of a palette I had)
MAC Reflects Gold Pigment
Ardell Demi Wispies False Lashes
Too Faced Glitter Glue

I did my brows in the normal way to start. For the eyes I simply lined the top of the eye with a large wing. I then applied a light purple eyeshadow only to the inner corner of the eye. This gives a really nice effect and makes the eyes pop, its easy to do this if you don't want to mess around with a full eye makeup. I then used a little of the glitter over the top of the purple and then applied some of the glitter pigment to make it more party appropriate! I finished with mascara top and bottom then false lashes.

Lips:
NYX Lip Pencil in Dolly Pink
NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in African Queen

I used then lip pencil all over the lips then the gloss on top.

So that is my simple party look hope you like it.

Subtle smokey eye!

Hope everyone is having a nice Saturday, the weather has been so terrible here I have refused to venture outside. This week I ordered some new lighting to take my photos as I was finding it hard to take any due to it being so dark. I really like them I'm just trying to figure out how to use them and get the best out of them. So my pics may not be 100% the best. I will get there. If you have any advice on lighting please share! I have tested them a little by doing my makeup today so thought id share.

Its just a subtle smokey eye that everyone can do I think it looks really nice for wintery days:)

Face:
MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Illamasqua Powder Blusher in Lover
BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in Pearl

I applied a small amount of foundation to the face, I have never tried this foundation before but it is quite matte and full coverage. I then concealed my under eyes but didn't set anything as I didn't feel I needed to. I finished with bronzer and blusher and a little of the highlighter on the cheeks.

Eyes:
ABH Brow Wiz Pencil
Benefit Gimme Brow
Tropic Brown Eyed Girl Shadow Palette
MAC Teddy Eye Pencil
Maybelline The Falsies Mascara

I did my brows in the usual way then used the warm shimmery shade from the palette all over the lid and under the eye. I then lined all around the eye with the eye pencil and blended it out with the darkest matte brown shade from the palette. I used the cooler grey/brown shade in the crease to make sure there were no harsh lined. I finished with lining the water line with the same pencil and applying mascara top and bottom.

Lips:
Bare Minerals Lip Pencil in Thrilled

One of my favourite lip pencils, I used this all over the lips.

So that is my Saturday face hope you like it
