Summer Smokey Eye!

Hey everyone sorry I didn't post yesterday I was out most of the day and ive been wanting to do another makeup look post so I saved it for today! Today ive done a smokey eye using browns and oranges, I chose these colours as they are softer and I think they are better for summer time and I find browns suit my eye colour better! I have tried out some of the new products out during this to so I will do a little extra note on what I think of those too!

face.
Makeup Forever HD Foundation
MAC Prolongwear Concealer
Urban Decay Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder
Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Sleek Blush Palette in Lace shade Chantilly
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Soft and Gentle

Its looking a bit washed out but, I was using natural sunlight and it was annoying me! I applied the Foundation using a buffing brush then concealed under the eyes, down the nose, centre of the forehead and chin. I set the concealer with the loose powder. I contoured slightly using the Chanel cream bronzer, then buffed this out with the hoola bronzer. I applied a little blush on the cheeks and then highlighted the top of them, the cupids bow centre of the forehead and down the nose.

* MUFE HD Foundation - was so excited to get this but it just isn't working with my skin at the moment, I thought it would be higher coverage! I do like the finish and will carry on using it but not for when I do looks like this.

* Urban Decay Finishing Powder - Really like this, its silky smooth and sets everything really well  and doesn't settle in any lines! First time I have used it and really like it.

Eyes:
MAC Prolongwear concealer
MAC Folie Eyeshadow
MAC Rule Eyeshadow
MAC Wedge Eyeshadow
Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Liner
Avon Khol Black Eyeliner
Maybeline Mega Plush Mascara
Benefit Gimme Brow
Benefit Brow Zings
Any False lashes

I first went through my brows with the gimme brow then went over the top with my brow zings powder. I then primed my eyes with concealer, I chose this as I have a lot of visible veins and redness at the moment so I needed extra coverage to make my base. I then applied wedge eye shadow all over the lid. I used rule in the crease and blended upwards towards the brow. To make sure there was no harsh lines I used a little wedge to blend them out. I lined the top lash line with a wing at the end with the gel liner. I lined the water line with the black pencil liner, I then appled rule to the centre of the bottom lash line, and joined it up each end with folie, and blended blended blended! I finished with mascara and false lashes.

* Gimme Brow - Not to sure what I think of this yet, wish I had got the darker one as it makes my brows slightly lighter than I like. I think its great for when you are on the go however when im wearing more makeup it doesn't really make much difference. Im also not very fond of how it dries either.... ill keep giving I a go!

Lips:
Nyx Lip Liner in Pale Pink
Bourjois 3D Effet Lipgloss 52

I applied the lip liner all over the lips as I didn't have a lipstick in the colour I wanted. I finished with applying the lip gloss in the centre of the lips only just to give a little dimension.

So there you go guys, let me no what you think. I think its perfect for summer when you still want to do a smokey eye and I think the orange makes it look a little different!
