Hey everyone, its Sunday again and again and its been quite sunny outside too :) I don't wear much makeup at the weekend or when its sunny so I thought I would do a combination of the two... my sunny day face! I like to keep it really natural and minimal and also quite glowy so I don't wear any powder.
No7 Sun Cream for sunspot prone skin spf30
MAC Studio Sculpt foundation
MAC Mineralize Concealer
Revlon Cream Blusher in Pinched
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector
I started by applying the sun cream, I always use a sun cream pacifically for the face as I think its better. This one in particular helps prevent sun spots which I get and also sits really well under makeup. I then applied the foundation all over the face, I concentrated on the centre of the face where I wanted more coverage then blended out. I like this foundation as it is really dewy and I find it doesn't move around when I don't use powder. Next I used a little concealer to cover my dark circles. I then applied the liquid highlighter to areas that catch the sun. First the top of the cheekbones round to the temple and under the brows. One spot on the centre of the nose, the centre of the forehead and the cupids bow. This highlighter is amazing and I am using it most days to add a beautiful glow to my skin. Using cream products also looks a lot more natural than using powders, however if you have oily skin you can set with a powder. I finished with applying the cream blusher to the apples of the cheeks and blended it back and up into the highlighter.
*I like to use my finger to apply creams and liquids over foundation as I think the warmth of the fingers blends it better and it doesn't move the foundation around

Hi everyone and welcome back, today I thought id do a little review on a new foundation I have been using, I saw a couple of other bloggers talking about it and I really wanted to try it. I have been using it for just over a week now and I no that its not a significant amount of time but I really link it, so here are my thoughts.
This is the Vichy Dermablend corrective foundation. This is a full coverage foundation and is called a corrective foundation at it known for its ability for concealing scars, redness, blemish scars, birth marks, even tattoos and more. The range also includes a concealer stick, a full body foundation and a setting powder. I was a little unsure about purchasing this as I didnt know if was right for me as I don't need to cover anything major but I do like full coverage when doing my makeup. So here is an example of what the foundation is like:

Hey everyone and welcome back so ive been shopping today and got a few new bits and wanted to give them a try so I did another makeup look post for you. Im still pale as ever however I have given in and fake tanned tonight (sorry) its just been so sunny today and I could not resist. So why I was still pale as ever I did this more grungy look with a bold lip. This is one of my favourite lipstick ever and I thought it would look good paired with a bold smoky eye. I think this I great for nights out or you could tone it down for day time to. So this is how I did it:
Vichy Dermablend foundation
Collection lasting perfection concealer
Rimmel Natural Bronzer
The Balm Mary LouMainizer
I kept the face pretty minimal with an even layer of foundation. I have just brought this foundation today so I will be doing a review on it soon. Then I concealed my under eyes with a little concealer. I finished with a bit of bronzer on the cheeks and for head and then highlighted the tops of the cheeks. I didn't set with powder as I didn't want it to look too matte.
Benefit Brow Zings
Benefit Gimme Brow
Maybelline black gel eyeliner
Urban Decay Naked1 Palette shades: Toasted Hustle and Buck
Maybelline Falsies Mascara
I started with my eyebrows using the powder to shape them then the gimme brow to set. For the eyes I began by applying a little of the buck shade in the crease with a fluffy brush to define them slightly. I then applied the gel liner to the top lash line, I lined it in a thick strong line with a flick in the outer corner. I then applied Toasted to the inner corner and half way in along the bottom lash line. I then applied Hustle to the outer part. with a fluffy brush I blended for ages to get that smoky effect adding more product where I needed it. I finished with a coat of mascara top and bottom.
MAC Nightmoth lip pencil
MAC Rebel lipstick
I applied the lip pencil all over the lips then applied the lipstick on top.
So there you go guys hope you like it, let me no what you think! Its really easy and simple but very effective and really stands out. This is one of my favourite lip combos its nice to be a bit more bold and stand out sometimes and this look would be beautiful and anyone!

Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog. Today I wanted to do a little review on the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. I brought it a couple of months ago and wanted to get some use out of it before I told you about it. I am a huge fan of the Real Techniques brand as im sure many of you are, the prices are really good and the quality of the brushes is amazing. When it comes to sponges I normally always use my Beauty Blender sponge however its looking a bit tatty so I thought I would give this one a try.
So firstly the one thing that drew me to this particular was other then the brand was the price, it was £5.99 which I thought was really good as you can use this over and over again as long as you wash it. I found with most of the other sponges were multi pack ones which I don't like as they are a funny shape and you can only get one good use out of them.
As you can see the sponge is also shaped in a way which makes it very versatile when it comes to applying foundation. The rounded edges are for large areas of the face creating an even and blended base. The pointy edge is for more precision such as concealing blemishes or any other areas needing more coverage or concealing. The flat edge area is easy to work with around the eyes and nose and also for highlighting and contouring. This may seem a bit complicated however it is perfect for beginners as I find the sponge does most of the work for you, its hard to go wrong with really.

Hey guys, I have been away for a week which is why I have not posted, I had no internet or anything so had to wait until today to post for you. I have done another spring makeup look for you today, I thought I would use a bit of colour as I am so pale at the moment I look so washed out in pictures so I thought I would brighten it up a bit! Its really simple and perfect for a sunny day.
Im choosing to embrace my pale skin so used shimmery Green/blues on the eyes to complement my eye colour and brighten them. So the eyes stand out I chose a lovely nude pink lip just to add a bit of colour. Its colourful and pretty and here is how I did it...
Revlon PhotoReady Foundation
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
MAC Mineralize Concealer
Urban Decay Loose Finishing Powder
Rimmel Natural Bronzer
Revlon Highlighting Palette - Rose Glow
I applied the foundation all over the face with my beauty blender. I then concealed my under eyes with both the concealers. I used the collection one mainly in the inner corners to cover dark circles and brighten and the MAC one around the rest of the eye as its really moisturising and my eyes are playing up the recently. I let everything settle into the skin before lightly dusting over with finishing powder. I applied a little bronzer to the cheeks, down the nose and forehead just to warm it slightly. I then applied the Revlon blush over the cheeks.
Benefit Gimme Brow
Rimmel Natural Bronzer
Maybelline Gel liner
GOSH Eye Pencil - 007 Alligator
Urban Decay Vice Palette - Unhinged
Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara
I firstly filled in my brows with the brow powder and set with the gimme brow. then applied a little of the bronzer in the crease just to add a little structure to they eye. I then used the gel liner to create a neat line with a slight flick at the edge. I lined the water line and bottom lash line quite thick with the green eyeliner pencil. I used the green/blue shimmer eye shadow in the inner corner and used it to smudge out the bottom lash line. You can choose how much and how far down you want to blend out to what suits you. I finished with a coat of mascara top and bottom.
Rimmel Lasting Finish By Kate Lipstick - 16
just to add I little colour I applied the lipstick all over the lips. its a lovely natural pink and perfect for day time.
So there you go guys let me know if you like it and what you would like to see next. I think this would suit anyone so get your bright colours out and give it a go :)
