Kylie Jenner Makeup Tutorial!

Hello and welcome back. today I thought I would do a celebrity inspiration post on the beautiful Kylie Jenner. I have never done anything like this before and I no I don't look any thing like her... I mean I have blue eyes and red hair! But I have really been loving her makeup recently and its really on trend too. There has been a big rave about her makeup and especially her lips so I thought I would so you a way to get her look and to show that anyone can do it!
Face:
L'Oreal Nude Magique BB Cream
MUFE HD Foundation
MAC ProLongwear Concealer
Urban Decay Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder
Benefit Hoola Bronzer

I started by applying the bb cream all over my face just to even out my skin tone, then went over with the foundation where I needed more coverage. I then concealed under my eyes with the concealer, I used one a little lighter to create a highlight under the eyes. Kylies skin looks quite matte so I set everything with the loose powder to take away any shine. She also looks like she is only wearing bronzer quite low on her cheeks so I applied my bronzer in the same way blending it quite low then over the top of the forehead to even it out.

Eyes:
MAC Eyeshadow in Folie, Wedge and carbon
Maybelline Gel Liner
Ardell Demi Wispies
Maybelline The Falsies Mascara
Anastasia Brow Wiz Pencil
Benefit Gimme Brow

I started with doing my brows, kylie has quite arched brows so I filled mine in creating an arch that I was comfortable with as I didn't want it really high, then I set them. Her eye shadow is also matte and neutral shades just to give a little definition so I mixed Wedge and Folie and blended it all over the lid and into the crease and upwards. For the gel liner Kylie has a smallish wing so I drew a line from the inner corner making it thicker towards the outer corner and ended it in a little flick. I could not tell if she has any eye liner underneath so I just applied a little bit of Carbon eye shadow to the outer corner and blended it out. I finished with a few coats of mascara top and bottom and of course kylie has amazing long lashes so I appled the Ardell Demi Whispies.

Lips:
Bare Minerals Lip Liner in Thrilled
Urban Decay Lipstick in Liar
No7 Translucent Powder

The big hype about kylies makeup at the moment is her lips, I think her makeup artist has created these by over drawing then and the ylook so pouty and beautiful. I only over drew my top lip a little as my bottom lip is naturally bigger than my top one so I just wanted to even it out. The shade she used is very on trend and I think quite 90's inspired, I don't no exactly what it is but I think im not too far off.

So I started with the lip pencil, I lined the bottom lip then slightly over drew the top lip, I then filled in the outer corners to contour slightly making them look more round and pouty. I then used the lipstick all over. This lipstick is quite dewy and kylies is very matte so I simply applied a translucent powder with my finger all over the lips to make them matte.

So that is my take on kylies look, I no I look nothing like her but that doesn't mean we cant all try out her look. Anyone can do this and its super easy so let me no if you like it :)

Lips and Cheeks Combo!

Hey and welcome back today I wanted to share a couple of new products with you that I have recently purchased and I think look beautiful together. I got both of these when I went shopping a few weeks ago and I now wear them all the time. I first want to apologise about my picture quality at the moment, I don't no what its like for you but my picture seem not to have the quality on my laptop at all compared to my phone, so ill have to have a looks what is going on and try to fix it.

First off is this Illamasqua powder blusher in the shade Lover and it was £21.50. Its a lovely matte nude, pinky/peach shade and its such an all round shade. Its looks really nice just on its own to add a little colour and it also looks lovely with bronzer and more contoured looks too. I find that this suits my skin tone weather im quite pale or when I am more tanned its really an all year round shade. The texture is really smooth and its perfectly bendable over liquids and other powders. You may think that the price is a little steep however these are such good quality and amazingly pigmented you only need a small amount and you do get 4.5g so this is going to last you a very long time.

Next is the lipstick which is MAC Lustre Lipstick in the shade Fleur D'Coral. I dont think you can actually get this anymore off the mac website as I cant find it, but I got this from Cheshire Oaks. This is just your perfect pink nude shade, I find it quite hard to find nudes that don't wash me out however as this is a peachy/pink nude it really suits my skin tone. It is a lustre lipstick which means there is a little sheen to it which I really like as its really comfy to wear and it doesn't dry out my lips. Its great for day time with any look and also for night if your wearing more dramatic eyes and just want a little something on the lips. Again this suits me when im pale but I do prefer it now I am more tanned. Its really long wearing and pretty and I've barely taken it off since I got it.

So they are my new little purchases, I love wearing them together as they really complement each other I find I really cant go wrong with this pair.

Urban Decay Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder!

Welcome back guys! Its a bit late to be posting but its been so sunny today so I have spent most of the day outside with everyone. This I just a little review today on this finishing powder I have owned for a couple of months now. At first I wasn't really into it however I have changed the way I apply it and now I can honestly say I will not use anything else to set my makeup. so lets get to it...

This is the Urban Decay Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder, and I purchased this from Debenhams for £22.00. When I picked this up it was because it was a new product and a saw a lot of buzz about it, I did think it was a little expensive but this really is worth every penny. This loose powder comes in 5 different shades and the one I use is in medium/light. Its a demi-matte finish which will blur imperfections, set your makeup and help stop the shine coming through. Its a beautiful powder and because of its finish it look so natural making your skin look naturally silky smooth and flawless.

The powder itself is probably the most finely milled powder I've ever seen and I personally could not be without this now. I do use this in a couple of different ways too. One way in which I use it is when im not wearing much makeup I sheerly dust it under my eyes and t-zone and any other places which may get oily during the day. Its perfect for this as it does not settle in any fine lines and does not cake up or look powdery on the skin. It looks really natural and helps keep my makeup in place all day. Another way I use it is when im doing my makeup for a night out and I wear more, I like it to look a little more matte. This powder builds up really easily on the skin I find it also gives a little extra coverage and makes my skin look completely flawless. The feel and texture of the skin looks and feels silky smooth and it does not look like you are caked in makeup at all. Its great for your nights out as it wont flash back in your pictures either.

I have been a big fan of Urban Decay for a long time and do not have a bad word to day about any of their products, they truly are amazing. Even though the price seems a little high you will find you don't need much to create your flawless finish and it will last you a very long time. Its invisible on skin making it super comfy to wear and will never look chalky or powdery at all! It really does keep everything in place so it stays all day or night. Its definitely a must have for my makeup bag now!!

MAC RiRi Hearts Pleasure Bomb Lipstick!

Hey everyone, when I went shopping for my birthday a couple of weeks ago I got a new lipstick from a shop at Cheshire Oaks which sells MAC and other higher end brands. I think its from the RiRi Hearts collection and I am not sure if you can still get this but I think its so beautiful and summery so I thought id do a summery look with it. The lipstick is called Pleasure Bomb and its a super bright pink, im not usually too drawn to bright lipstick but I really love this one. Its matte which means it has incredible staying power and its perfect for any occasion. You can wear this in the day time like I have with minimal makeup or pear it with dark eyes for night time. Its really comfortable to wear and I love how brighter lipstick like this make my lips appear more full, this shade will suit any skin tone, and really is a show stopper!

*The picture quality is not the best im having a lot of trouble uploading my pictures on here but if you head to my Instagram you will be able to see better quality ones.

So this is how I have my makeup today, I wanted the lipstick to stand out so I did a really simple makeup for the face and eyes and teamed it with a messy pony tail. I chose to wear this blue top from Topshop as I thought I would be a good contrast with the pink lipstick.

Face:
L'Oreal Nude Magique BB Cream
MUFE HD Foundation
Collection Lasting Perfection concealer
Urban Decay Ultra Definition Loose Powder
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Illamaqua Blusher shade Lover

I first applied the bb cream all over the face, I prefer to apply this with fingers as I find it blends a lot easier. I added a little foundation just to areas that needed extra coverage then concealed the under eyes with the concealer. I used a lighter shade of concealer just to give a little more brightness. I finished with the bronzer buffing the is round the forehead and cheeks to add warmth and blusher to the cheeks. I don't usually contour much in the summer time I usually prefer the sunkissed look.

Eyes:
Anasasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Pencil
Benefit Gimme Brow
Benefit Bright Eyes Pencil
Maybelline The Falsies Mascara

First I did my brows I wanted them quite full so I drew then in with the pencil then set them with the gimme brow. I then lined the water line with the eye pencil this brightens the eyes making them appear wider and brighter. I finished with applying mascara to the top and bottom lashes.

Lips:
MAC RiRi Hearts Pleasure Bomb Lipstick

I applied this all over the lips, it can be quite difficult to get the lines straight but just take your time.

So that is my Sunday look hope you like it :)

Budget Tips!

When it comes to beauty products one of the hardest things to do is not get carried away with buying, and buying and buying. I am forever buying something new every time I go to the shops I just cant help myself. If I already have numerous amounts of nude lip-glosses, if another one catches my eye it has to be mine. It can be so overwhelming as everything looks so pretty when we go shopping its hard not to treat ourselves however I have a couple of ideas which may help you think a little about what your spending and how to budget yourself so you are not buying numerous amounts of products which you don't really need.

1, Do your research when it comes to buying the more expensive products. If you have your eye on something that is a little more pricey, check out which shop or website will give you the best deal. Also reviews are very important, even though everyone reacts differently to products however you will be able to find out an overall insight to a products quality by reading peoples reviews.

2, Don't be too sceptical about drugstore products. I no people who would not ever buy makeup from the drugstore... but before you go ahead and buy a £15.00 lipstick from a high end brand go and test the drugstore ones. Some makeup I personally prefer to buy from the drugstore, as I find them to be better than the high end brands. Even if its just a couple of products, you will still save a little money and still for good quality products.

3, If you do buy a product and its really not agreeing with you, have a swap party with your friends. I think we all have multiple product in our draws we have barely touched and no we never will, however they may be perfect for someone else. Swapping with friends is a great way not waste money and products and also for you to try new things you may not go out and buy yourself.

4, Have a pamper party. Every once in a while instead of going to somewhere to get your nails done or have a facial, have pamper night in where you can all help do each others, ask everyone to bring something different, nail varnish, facemasks, eye masks etc and have a nice chilled night in. This not only saves money on a night out but also skips the cost on paying someone to do it.

5, Don't buy a replacement product until the current one your using has ran out. I make this mistake all the time especially when it comes to hair products. I end up with so many bottles of the same shampoo as whenever I go shopping I just pick on up while im there. This really wastes money you could spend on something else. so until you hit pan on your makeup or are using the last few drops of your shampoo, you don't need to buy another one.

6, Try not to buy too many of the same products. Now do you really need those 10 nude lipsticks?? I don't think so. Maybe two or three different versions of a product is ok however weather it be a bb cream, lipstick, highlighter, bronzer I could go on and on, you really don't need every version from every brand. Stick to the couple that you actually like and use or that stash in your draw gathering dust will only grow and grow, and the money you have spend on all that adds up. This isn't to stop you trying new brands and different versions of products but make sure you use up the one your using first.

7, Make a pact with yourself that whenever you do go shopping you will buy at least one product which you have never used or which you have nothing like. This helps you stop buying all those products we have just talked about in the last tip. It gets you trying new things and brands and learning different techniques, and if you end up buying something you are not quite sure on, swap it with one of your friends.

8, If possible give yourself a budget on what you want to spend on your beauty products each month this is probably one of the hardest things to do but im sure if you all actually looked back and calculated how much you are currently spending it would be a huge shock.

9, Shop your stash. There will always be that one product you forgot you have which will sneak back into your makeup bag. I am forever forgetting I have certain things and instead of buying new ones I always use these up first.

10, Always ask the shop assistants for help if you are unsure on what you want. Ask them try it on you and show you how to correctly apply, it this will help you from buying products which are maybe the wrong shade or something that you don't even need.

So there is a few tips to help you save a few pennies when it comes to beauty, hope you found these helpful.
