Want Glowing Skin? Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector!

I no it is nearly winter and the days of nice tanned, glowing skin have nearly passed however you can still keep the healthy glow without the tan. I have been using this product for a very long time now and its suitable for any time of the year if you want glowing skin.

This is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector and it is £33.00, and it simply an moisturising illuminating base. You may think the price is a little steep however you do get a massive 50ml!! of product and trust me a little will go a very long way. The different ways of using this product are never ending and its an essential in my makeup bag. out of all the illuminating products I have been through this is the only one that I find works, it is literally glow in a bottle. There are four different shades of too to suit different skin tones however I find this one to be suitable for most if not all skin tones.

If you have dry skin and want want lovely dewy skin, or your looking for the perfect liquid highlighter, this is the one for you. The formulation is light and sits well under makeup, its unbelievably glowey however it has NO glitter which is amazing. You can use this as a base under foundation to illuminate the skin for an all over dewy effect. its an amazing liquid highlighter to finish off the makeup, using it on the tops of the cheekbones, temples under the brow and forehead with catch the light creating a natural highlight. You can also use this on parts of the body too as I highlighter.

It really is an amazing product and totally worth the money, it is slightly scented which im not a big fan of, however it does fade away and it doesn't irritate me at all. Its he the most beautiful highlighter ive ever seen and I no its used a lot on the red carpet by the professionals too. Im a big fan of Beccas products, and I would deffinately recommend this.

Every Day Makeup, Less Is More!

Its finally my 100th post and it seems like forever! Its a Sunday today and its normally everyone's relaxing day so I have done an everyday makeup today that would suit anyone. I think sometimes less is more when it comes to makeup especially for everyday and I think this is still nice and effective, plus its so easy.

Face:
MAC Studio Sculpt foundation
MAC Mineralise Concealer
Urban Decay Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder
Benefit Hoola Bronzer

I used a beauty blender to apply the foundation all over the face then concealed the under eyes and blended with the same sponge. I chose both of these products and I find them quite hydrating and comfortable for everyday. I finished by setting with the loose powder then applying a tiny bit of bronzer to the cheeks.

Eyes:
Maybelline Gel Liner
Maybelline The Falsies Mascara
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
ABH Brow Wiz Pencil
Benefit Gimme Brow

I fist did my eyebrows, I just darkened them really keeping the natural shape then setting them. I used a tiny bit of bronzer in the crease of the eye to even the face and create a little bit of definition to the eye. I applied gel liner to the top of the eyelid creating a little flick at the end. I finished with mascara top and bottom.

Lips:
Urban Decay Lip Pencil in Streak
Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter in Crème Brulee
Bourjois 3D Effet Lip Gloss in 52

I applied the lip pencil all over the lips then blended with my fingers to sheer it out, I then applied the lipstick then gloss all over.

So that is my 100th post and a pretty every day makeup look hope you like it :)

Purple Smokey Eye!

Havnt done a makeup look for a while so as I have not had much to do this morning I did one. Smokey eyes are so popular especially for nights out so I decided to do one with a bit of a twist. I have used purples to create it rather than blacks or browns to show you can create a smokey eye with any shades. Hope you like...

Face:
Revlon Photo Ready Foundation
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
Urban Decay Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
Illamasqua Powder Blusher in Lover
GOSH Giant Sun Powder

I started with foundation fist then I actually did my eyes next. I concealed under the eyes after I had done them as its less messy and you can neaten up your lines too. I then set everything with the loose powder. I used the bronzer next not to contour but to warm it up a bit as im so pale right now, I used it on the cheekbones nose and forehead... anywhere which would naturally catch the sun. I added a tiny bit of blusher not much just a little on the apples of the cheeks and then highlighted the tops of the cheekbones with the GOSH powder.

Eyes:
Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo in Metallic Pomegranate
MAC Eye shadow in - Beauty Marked, Sketch, Folie, Ricepaper and Coppering
Avon Black Kohl Eyeliner Pencil
Maybelline Gel Liner
ABH Brow Wiz Pencil
Benefit Gimme Brow
Maybelline The Falsies Mascara

First I did my eyebrows the same as always starting off with the pencil and then setting with the gimme brow. Then I applied the cream colour tattoo just over the eyelid. This acts as a nice base for the eye shadow to go over. I then applied Beauty marked just over the top of the cream eye shadow. I used Sketch in the outer corner and into the crease and blended out. I used Folie to blend it out towards the brow, then highlighted the brow bone with Ricepaper. Using a big fluffy brush I made sure there were no harsh lines. This is just a quick break down of what I did you may find you have to really blend like crazy to get the effect and keep adding more product where you u need it as you go along.

I then lined the top lash line with a gel liner into a little flick at the end. For the under eye I lined the water line and lash line with the pencil. At the inner corner I highlighted it with Coppering eye shadow, I though this would look a bit different I blended it into the eyeliner too. I smudged out the eyeliner with sketch eye shadow to create a smokey effect. I finally applied a little more Beauty Marked to the lid and a few coats of mascara. Using False eyelashes would look great with this but I didn't have any at the time.

Lips:
NYX Lip Pencil in Pale Pink
L'Oreal lip extraordinaire in Nude Ballet

I lined the whole lip with the lip pencil then applied the L'Oreal liquid lipstick all over. I wanted a nude lip to the eyes stood out and I chose this one as its a little glossy too.

So that is my purple smokey eye look I think its suitable for anyone and perfect for a night out. thanks for reading.

A Natural Face, High End and Drugstore!

You don't have to buy the most expensive makeup in the world to achieve the look you want. In some circumstances I do believe you get what you pay for when it comes to quality however when it comes to me personally I like to use whatever products suit me weather its from a high end brand or your local drugstore. Today I am going to show you how to create a natural every day makeup look from more higher brands and the drugstore. I would not say these are "dupes" I just want to show alternative products. I was going to do my makeup to show you however the sun has decided to come back out so my eyes are red raw at the moment.

So Firstly foundation I went for MAC Studio Sculpt £25.00 its a nice every day foundation it has an spf in it and its got a nice for dry skin as its more of a dewy finish. Then for the under eyes its the MAC Mineralise Concealer £17.00 really nice and moisturising for every day its very hydrating and lasts a long time without drying or settling in lines. To set I chose the Urban Decay Ultra Definition Loose Powder £22.00 it is really light and natural and doesn't look powdery on the skin. For eyebrows it has to be the Anastasia Brow Wiz Pencil £15.50 its a very fine pencil making it easy to shade in the brows you can stay as natural or sculpt out as much as you want with this. For eyes and an every day gel liner flick there is the Bobbi Brown Gel Liner £18.00 nice and smooth when applying and it lasts all day, and for Mascara I picked the Benefit They're Real £19.50 it lengthens and thickens your lashes and its really nice when not wearing a lot of eye makeup due to how much it makes them stand out. To nearly finish off the Too Faced Bronzer £22.00 the fact that this smells just like chocolate is totally worth it, its very nice and blend able on the skin, and Illamasqua Powder Blusher in Lover £21.50 a lovely blusher for every day to complete our natural every day look. To finish MAC Fleur De Coral Lipstick (maybe discontinued) its a great every day nude, and Mac Soft and Gentle Mineralize Skinfinish £23.00 perfect for every day gives a nice natural glow to the skin.

So you can get the same every day natural look by using Revlon Photo Ready Foundation £12.99 Really nice for every day again it has an spf and a nice glowey finish to it, for under eye concealer I chose the Maybelline Eye Eraser concealer £7.00 it is a nice concealer that hydrates and lasts all day. To set use the No7 Loose Powder £10.50 its not powdery on the skin its really light and sets your makeup very nicely. For eyebrows the Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil £2.99 is great it too has a brush to help blend and the texture of the pencil its really nice and smooth. For the everyday gel liner I like the Maybelline Gel Eyeliner £7.99 it comes with a brush and its one of the best gel liners ever, it lasts all day and very easy to apply. For mascara I chose Maybelline The Falsies £7.99 it really extends and makes your eyelashes look so much fuller. For bronzer the Rimmel Natural Bronzer £5.99 has always been a favourite of mine its nicely pigmented and blends well on the skin. For blusher the Sleek Blusher Lace Palette £9.99 are ace all these shades a perfect for every day they are supper pigmented to. To finish the Revlon Colour Burst Lipstick in Crème Brulee £7.99 another perfect nude for everyday and nice and moisturising and the Revlon Highlighting Palette in Rose Glow £8.99 a lovely highlighter for every day to finish the natural look.

So there is my everyday natural makeup split into high end and drugstore, hoe you liked it
