Current Strobing Duo!

The Makeup world has gone crazy about strobing this summer. Stobing is basically extreme highlighting and even though I love a little bit of contouring, I am really enjoying this super glowing look!

Todays look - All Matte Everything!

Todays makeup look is something I have never done before. It is an all matte look from base to the eyes, which is more out of my comfort zone but I was really happy with how it turned out!

Batiste Dry Shampoo!

Batiste Dry Shampoo

If you have read my blog for a while you will know I don't talk about hair products very often, this isn't for any particular reason, I am just personally very low maintenance with my hair as I find it very hard to find products which don't irritate my scalp. Which is why I get so excited when I find a new hair product to add to my collection.

My Outfit Of The Day - #UltimateVegasOutfit

Hey everyone today is going to be a bit of a different post so I hope you like it! I recently found out that is searching for the #UltimateVegasOutfit, which got me thinking about what I would wear if I were to check in to one of the Las Vegas Hotels and spend the day in Sin City! When I first thought of the endless possibilities of outfit choices my brain nearly exploded... until I actually looked into my wardrobe! I personally am not a party dress kind of girl therefore I wanted to pick an outfit I would feel comfortable and myself in but also feel I looked dressed up enough to spend the day in Vegas.

July Beauty Favourites!

Welcome back everyone, it is time for another monthly favourites. Over this past few weeks I have done quite a bit of shopping so I felt that I had so many producys to include. So I don't make this so long winded I have only included the products I have used the most of all.

First off is the Clinique Take The Day Off Balm £22.00. I have searched for so long to find the perfect cleanser for me and I have finally found it. This balm removes all my makeup effortlessly and glides over the skin so gently there is no scrubbing or pulling at all. It is fragrance free which is perfect for my sensitive skin and it makes my skin feel so soft and smooth. As I am now cleansing my face properly with this I have definitely noticed an improvement in my skin, I am so happy this is part of my skincare routine.

Next is another skincare product from Clinique and it is the Mild Clarifying Lotion £16.50. To be honest I have owned this for a very long time, however as I had not been happy with my skin I started to use this along with the cleanser. This is an alcohol and fragrance free exfoliator and this one is for more sensitive skins like mine. You simply use a cotton pad to sweep over the face and neck morning and night and I really like how gentle is it. After incorporating this into my skincare routine the whole appearance of my skin looks and feels so much healthier.

The Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade £15.00 has been on my wish list for a while now. I purchased this in my last shopping haul which you read here, and have been using it all the time. I went through a little trial and error to begin with to find my routine, and would now be reluctant to use anything else on my brows. Using an angled brush I apply a small amount to the back of my hand then simple fill in my brows. What I love about this is that you can create a really defined sculpted brow or just use the tiniest amount across the hairs for a little more thickness and definition. Either way when this sets, it will not budge and becomes waterproof... what more could you want. It is amazing how little of the product you need I think it is great value for money!

A foundation I have been using quite a bit lately is the Vichy Dermablend Foundation £18.00. This is an extremely pigmented foundation mainly used for corrective makeup such as covering achne, scars, birthmarks and even tattoos. Now I don't need anything survere covering up, I just like to use this as a normal everyday foundation. I dont need half as much product as when using other foundations and the coverage is great. It is really nice and comfortable on the skin, plus it is very long lasting too.

Last but not least is the Zoeva Cat Eye Pen £5.50 which I also brought in my latest haul. I have been looking for a liquid eyeliner to help with precision and this really ticks all the boxes for me. The tip of the pen is so pointy you can draw very precise eyeliner with this. I will either use this for all the liner or just use it to draw my shape first then fill it in with another product.

So they are my July favourites, I hope you like them!
