If you have followed my blog or Instagram for a while now you will know I am a massive fan of winged out liner, I feel quite bare when I'm not wearing my wings, however if you feel a strong winged eyeliner is a little too much for you a great way to create a softer version is by using an eye shadow instead of a gel or liquid eyeliner. Today I am sharing this soft but effective alternative winged liner makeup look.

L'Oreal True Match Foundation
Cover FX Custom Cover Drops
Urban Decay Naked Concealer
Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Give Me Sun!
Clarins Illuminating Cheek Colour in Soft Peach
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle

I started by mixing three of the Cover FX custom cover drops into the foundation and applied all over the face with my Beauty Blender. I then concealed my under eyes with the Urban Decay concealer, then set with the power. I have used a concealer which is only slightly lighter then my skin tone as I didn't want it too highlighted today. Next I contoured slightly with the Benefit hoola bronzer to add a little structure to the face and then applied my bronzer. I used the Clarins blush over the cheeks and finished with my highlighter.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz
Urban Decay Eyeliner Pencil in Demolition
Stila In The Light Eyeshadow Palette
Maybelline The Falsies Mascara
Ardell Demi Wipsies False Lashes
Scotch Tape

To start off I filled in my brows using the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Auburn, I then use a little bit of scotch tape on the outer corner of the eye to map out where I wanted the wing. This is nice fuss free way to ensure you will create a really straight wing. For the eye shadow I started off by using Bliss into the crease and blended it out. I used Bubbly all over the lid, and  built it up until it was quite pigmented. I then used Sandstone to darken the crease and the outer corners, and finally used Ebony for the wing.

*I blended the darker shades from the outer corners into where the wing would start to make it more softer.

For the under eye I simply used Bubbly eye shadow again all along the lash line and lined the water line with the Urban Decay pencil in Demolition. I applied lots of the Maybelline mascara and applied my Ardell false lashes in Demi Wispies. To finish I used Kitten eye shadow into the inner corners to make them pop.

MAC Lip Pencil in Whirl
Stila Kitten Eyeshadow

I lined and filled in the lips with the Whirl lip pencil from MAC then used a small amount of the Kitten eye shadow to the centre.

I hope you like todays makeup look, let me know what you think in the comments below.
