2015 Beauty Favourites!

beauty favourites

So here it is... 2016, I hope you have all had a great time bringing in the new year with family and friends! This year has had its ups and downs for me and I am sure this year will also not be easy however there are many things I am proud of and I will continue to carry on working hard. Through 2015 I have tried so many beauty products, my makeup collection is constantly growing, so as I have sat down at my desk to reach out my beauty favourites of the year I thought I would be overwhelmed.

To simplify the task I looked back through the years posts to see what I had been using and talking about for the longest amount of time, certain products kept cropping up which I put aside. To narrow down the huge mountain of makeup and skincare products I then picked out which products I have been majorly impressed with when it comes to quality. The seven finalists are definitely products that I have become most fond of using through the year and will continue to be a staple in my makeup collection through 2016.

Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette - Possibly my most used eyeshadow palette of the year, this has been a staple for the majority of my makeup tutorials. I was so impressed with the price, being such great quality. The eyeshadows are extremely pigmented and bendable all of the shades in this palette are all my go to shades.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz - I am sure I have talked about this brow pencil numerous times throughout the year and will use this to fill in my eyebrows most of the time. The preciseness you can achieve with this eyebrow pencil is amazing and you can use this to create your everyday tamed subtle everyday brows to your full glam structured "brows on fleek"

Gerard Cosmetics Hydra-Matte Liquid Lipsticks - A staple in my makeup looks for the past few months I can not get enough of these liquid lipsticks. Although having never tried any other liquid lipstick I have nothing to compare these to, these are incredibly great value for money. They are very pigmented and very comfortable to wear. These lipsticks will stay on all night without drying up your lips one bit.

MAC Lip Pencils in Soar and Whirl - My most used lip pencils all year not only because they are nude but because they are my favourite formula. These line the lips very precisely and do not slip and slide. Being My favourite shade to fill in the whole lips Soar enhances any nude shade you wear over the top. Whirl is the perfect lip pencil to contour the lips. It is a subtle enough shade to overdraw the lips to create fuller looking lips, and I can pair it with multiple shades of lipsticks and lip glosses.

Cover FX Custom Cover Drops - My favourite base product of 2015 the custom cover drops has completely changed my base routine. I will eventually get to writing my long awaited review on this extremely pigmented product,  in the mean time lets keep it quick. Just a few drops of this can be mixed with any skincare or base product to add or increase pigment. Weather you want to increase the coverage of your foundation or you want to create your own tinted moisturiser these little drops from Cover FX have been increadibly usefull to me.

Urban Decay Naked Weightless Concealer - An all time favourite concealer for me its name reviews this product very well. This concealer is great coverage and extremely light weight. It is perfect for me who wants a full coverage under eye concealer which does not crease or feel heavy at all. This is extremely long lasting and has a beautiful natural finish if you did not wish to set for an every day dewy look, however sets flawlessly with powder if you prefer.

Clinique Take The Day Off Balm - Having already appeared in a favourites post in 2015 this Clinique cleansing balm has made taking off my makeup a pleasure. It is extremely kind to my very sensitive skin and removes any makeup with ease. It is so quick and simple to use, my skin feels beautifully fresh and clean every time I use it.

So they are my 2015 beauty favourites, I hope you like them and don't forget to share your in the comments too!
