Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop!

BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Champagne Pop
Possibly the most famous highlighter in the world right now, when I heard that the BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne pop was coming to the UK I could not wait to get my hands on it. I pre-ordered mine from Space NK as soon as I was able to and received it   around a week before Christmas. Created by Jaclyn Hill which I have followed from her beginning on YouTube and produced by BECCA, a cosmetic brand I love, I knew I would adore it.

It may seem quite expensive retailing at £32.00 from Space NK, however being so intensely pigmented I would like to see proof of someone eventually hitting pan. The glow to the skin this pressed powder highlighter gives is very beautiful, the smooth and buttery texture glides and blends so easily with no glitter in sight. It is a very universal highlighter when it comes to skin tone, suiting the lightest and darkest of skins, due to the fact that itself is not too cool or warm toned. Being neither very pale or too golden I can wear this over winter time when I am quite light and also trough summer when I have more of a tan which is perfect. The packaging is really nice and sturdy, there is also a mirror in the top of the compact which is really handy for carrying in your handbag.

To apply this highlighter you only need a very light hand and fan brush or small tapered brush. The aim is to apply this anywhere the light would naturally hit the face, so preferably the tops of the cheek bones, above the brows, down the centre of the nose and cupids bow. Champagne Pop can be used on those non makeup days when you just want a natural dewy look to the skin, or you can build up the intensity for those "highlight on fleek" days when you want your highlight to be seen from space!

As I am not the best as swatch photos I will leave a link to my posts where I have used this to highlight, here and here, for you instead.

Have you tried the BECCA Champagne Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector yet?

  5. It's really such a gorgeous shade. Too bad it has bismuth oxychloride in it, so I can't use it :(

  11. I've swatched this and it's REALLY intense, in a nice way, and I can totally see how it would flatter virtually all skin tones. I've been working my way through Becca's Opal liquid highlighter, which is quite a bit more subtle. Basically can't go wrong with Becca highlighters!

  14. I love this hightlighter so much... And then I dropped it. I have never had a powder shatter so much inside the compact. It was like fairy dust everywhere! I was very excited when I knew that I could repurchase it, but I feel dumb that I had to.
