It is officially the end of Christmas and I hope I am not the only one who feels like they have been in a whirl wind for the last two weeks. Even though it is my favourite time of year, I do enjoy getting organised and back into my normal routine. The weekend had been quite relaxed and though I have not been able to do a makeup post for you as I have been so run down, It has given me the chance try out all of the beauty products I received. This Paint Pot To Go 2 Piece Set by Ciate I was drawn to try straight away. Of course, If there is one thing I always go towards first not only will it be anything sparkly, but mini too!
Ciate nail polishes are not a brand I have ever tried before however I do become fixated on their counters whilst shopping with their beautiful packaging and amazing colour range. These two in particular I know will be my staple nail polishes over winter.
First off their is Amazing Gracie, the perfect ballet pink shade. It is quite pale however has a beautiful finish with two coats. It leaves the nails looking really healthy and is perfect for everyday nails this season being cool and subtle.
Secondly is Antique Brooch, possibly the nicest glittery nail polish I now own. Filled with mini metallic gold flecks combined with shiny pink shards of glitter in different sizes leaves the most eye catching finish. You achieve an even amount of glitter as you paint each nail so all look the same too which I love.
Although these can both be worn on their own, over the weekend I have been wearing Amazing Gracie with Antique Brooch over the top and they have not chipped. They apply really easily and smoothly which for a novice when it comes to nails is key. Ciate is definitely a brand I will try again and because these are mini sized I will actually be able to use them up too. I looked them up on goole and most places had sold out however I did find them here, in stock while I was writing this post.
What will your winter nails be?
