Finally this weekend I was able to wear makeup again! I was makeup free for all of last week as I had a cold sore, which was great! So I was unable to do a makeup post for you. This weekend I was feeling quite motivated and decided I wanted to film a tutorial for YouTube as I have been wanting to start a channel for so long now. I wanted to film a look I was comfortable with and something I wear quite often and this is how it turned out. I will let you know how the video goes and if it will be up this week, so let me know if you are interested in me filming my tutorials for you too!

Face:
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
Cover FX Custom Cover Drops
MAC Pro Longwear Concealer
MAC Prep and Prime in Light Boost
Laura Mercier Loose Translucent Powder
Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Give Me Sun
Illamasqua blusher in Lover
BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop

I first mixed the Double Wear foundation with the Custom Cover Drops on the back of my hand then applied this all over the face with my Beauty Blender. I then concealed my under eyes with the Pro Longwear Concealer by MAC and I also used this on my eyelids too as a primer. I applied the Prep and Prime Highlighter to anywhere I wanted to highlight then set the whole face with the loose powder. I used the bottom left shade from the Contour Kit to contour then blended this out with the Benefit Hoola Bronzer. I used Give Me Sun to warm up the face and finished off with my blusher and highlight.

Eyes:
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Auburn
Maybelline Brow Drama
Makeup Geek Eyeshadows - Beaches and Cream, Creme Brûlée, Cocoa Bear
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in Auburn
Stila In The Light Palette
MAC Teddy Eye Pencil
Benefit Roller Lash Mascara
Ardell Demi Wispies False lashes

I filled in my brows using the Brow Wiz Pencil, then set them in place with the Brow Drama. For the eyes I started by applying Beaches and Cream into the crease with a fluffy brush, I then used Creme Brûlée over the top. To Darken the outer corner I used Cocoa Bear then went onto the Stilla Palette. I used Sunset all over the lid and then Sandstone to darken the outer edges a little more. I lined the eyes with the Dip Brow Pomade using it in the same way I would a gel liner and applied the Roller Lash mascara to my top lashes. I applied my Demi Wispies Lashes and tight-lined the water lines with the Teddy pencil from MAC. To finish I then used a little Creme Brûlée shadow along the lower lash line and applied my mascara to the bottom lashes.

Lips:
MAC Lip Pencil in Whirl
Rimmel Apocalips Lip Laquer in 3163

I lined the lips subtly first then applied the Lip Laquer all over.

I hope you like todays look let me know what you think in the comments, and don't forget to share.

Zoe x

  4. Those Makeup Geek shadows always look so beautiful when I see people wearing them, I don't know why I haven't picked any up yet! Your contour looks great - I keep trying it but can't seem to make it look natural on my face. Yesterday I asked my boyfriend how it was, feeling like I did a pretty good job, and his response was "...ehh." It's all good, he's my unbiased makeup critic. :) Anyway I love this look!
