Welcome back everyone, Winter has definately arrived in the UK in the past week or so, we have experienced cold frosts and snow and I am sure there is more to come. As it has become so cold I feel more inspired to wear warmer and bolder deeper colours, so today I wanted to share my perfect winter makeup look.
Makeup Forever HD Foundation
Cover FX Custom Cover Drops
Urban Decay Naked Concealer
Anastasia Beverly hills Contour Kit
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Give Me Sun!
L'Oreal Blush in Sandalwood Pink
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop
I started by mixing the two foundations and applying them all over the face with a Beauty Blender, I then used the Urban Decay concealer to conceal my under eyes. I didn't want to include too much highlighting in this look therefore I used a concealer very slightly lighter than my foundation and dusted over only a small amount of the highlighting powder from my contour kit to set, this brightened the under eye area without looking too sharp. For this winter makeup look I wanted to keep it quite warm so I used the Hoola Bronzer to contour only very slightly then used the Give Me Sun bronzer by MAC which has more of a red undertone to warm up the face. I finished by applying this rose toned blush from L'Oreal in Sandalwood Pink and my Champagne Pop Highlighter for a warm glow.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Auburn
Maybelline brow Drama
Makeup Geek eyeshadows in Frappe and Cocoa Bear
Maybelline Black Gel Eyeliner
Benefit Roller Lash Mascara
Huda Beauty Lashes in Scarlett
I used Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz to fill in my brows and then the Maybelline Brow Drama to set them. I wanted to keep the eyes simple but sharp for this fall makeup so I used a mix of Frappe and Cocoa bear in the crease to add warmth and to balance with the rest of the face, I then blended them out with a fluffy brush so the colour was not too harsh. I decided to go hard with the gel liner and created a strong wing which extended out quite far. For the under eyes I used the same two eye shadows again for a wash of colour. I applied Benefits Roller Lash Mascara to the top and bottom lashes then applied my falises from Huda Beauty in the style Scarlett.
MAC Lip Pencil in Nightmoth
MAC Lipstick in Rebel
What else pairs perfectly with a warm winter makeup look than a berry lip? I first used the Nightmoth lip pencil by mac to line and fill in the lips, I then applied the Rebel lipstick all over the top.
I hope you like todays Makeup look, it is my go to makeup when it comes to winter time, I love the warm tones together with a bold berry lip and it is perfect for every day or night time too.
