NEW Rimmel Insta Collection First Impressions + Review

Rimmel Insta Collection First Impressions and Review
Welcome to another makeup first impressions and review, I was lucky enough to be sent the brand new Insta Collection from Rimmel London recently to try and have been excited to share my first impressions. I like to share my first impressions in a video, you are able to see my reaction of using the products for the first time, how I use them and how they apply.

The Rimmel Insta Collection consists of a collection of concealers, contour products, highlighters and setting products to help us capture the perfect selfie, I tried each of the Insta products to create a look which you can see in my tutorial below.

The Rimmel Insta Conceal And Correct Palette has the perfect colour correcting shades, I usually only use a green colour corrector for my redness however I used each shade in my tutorial and was really happy with the whole palette. There are useful instructions on how to use each shade which is great for beginners and I found each corrector worked very well. The consistency was light weight yet pigmented and all were very easy to blend.

Moving on to the Insta Conceal And Contour Palette although I found the shades swatched lighter than they looked in the pan, again I was happy with the consistency and pigmentation of each of them. I don't usually use cream concealers especially under my eyes however these would be perfect for spot concealing after foundation. I chose to use the cream contour which blended really well adding definition back to my face with a natural finish.

Contour sticks are becoming very popular and this Insta Duo Contour Stick from Rimmel has the contour shade on one end and a highlighter on the other. A great two in one travel product, I loved how easy to use this was. The Contour was easy to blend, I also brought this up onto my cheeks for a more bronzed look. The Highlight ends are beautiful shades again they apply and blend with ease creating a very natural glow to the skin.

Rimmel setting powders are some of my favourite so I was hoping to love this Insta Fix & Matte. This powder set my makeup into place however wasn't too matte for my dry skin. Finally we have Rimmel Insta Fix & Go Setting Spray which smells incredible, the application is a nice fine mist, and it is also a two in one primer and setting spray so you can apply before and after makeup.

I was pretty impressed with the new Rimmel Insta Collection of products I loved how easy each product was to use, you can see my full review and tutorial below. Have you tried any of the Insta products yet?

* These products were sent to me in a press package, all opinions are my own.
