When I recently received a press package from Tanya Burr Cosmetics I was so excited to see what was inside, being a huge fan of Tanya and her products for a while now I was looking forward to testing a brand new collection. The Selfie Story Collection from Tanya Burr Cosmetics consists of three staple makeup products and I thought you guys might want see my first impressions and tutorial using each Selfie Story product, the Selfie Scuplt Brow Pencil, Selfie Flick Liquid Eyeliner and Selfie Lash Mascara.

Packaging always comes first in our reviews and the Tanya Burr Cosmetics Selfie Story Collection has stunning packaging, not that I would expect anything else from Tanya! Gold Packaging reminds me of more luxury products and being more stylish for drugstore pierced products, the Selfie Story collection definitely has a more special feel to them!

I first used the Selfie Sculpt Brow Pencil, filling and defining my brows is an important step in my makeup routine and I have reviewed a few eyebrow products over time. I loved that the Selfie Sculpt has a spoolie already on one end to help blend the product, perfect for traveling with. The actual eyebrow pencil itself is angled which helped me be very precise when defining my brows. I show you my brow routine below therefore you can see in person the brow pencil was really easy and quick to use. I liked the formula and shade, I used Medium which blended very easily plus was really long wearing.

Next I moved on to the Selfie Flick Liquid Eyeliner, if you have followed my tutorials for a while you will know liquid eyeliner is not usually my best friend which is why I always opt for gel. I was pleasantly surprised with this liquid eyeliner I found Selfie Flick very easy to use, if you are more of a novice with winged eyeliner this maybe one to start with. The handle was long which made the eyeliner easy to handle and move around together with the wand itself fine and precise making for an easy application. The formula of the liquid eyeliner was super dark and black with just one coat which lasted all day.

Finally it is time for the Selfie Lash Mascara, having a plastic wand with lots of bristles long and short this was easy to apply and coated every lash. Selfie Lash is build-able I applied two coats for extra thickness and it did not look clumpy nor did it transfer. I absolutely loved this mascara for my bottom lashes, as the wand tapers to the end it was easy to coat my bottom lashes with plenty of mascara for a beautiful finish. Again the formula had a big thumbs up from me, feeling light weight and comfortable all day without crumbling and lasting very well in my wear test.

You can watch my Selfie Story Collection Tutorial below to see how I applied all of the products and how they wore in my wear test also, will you be trying any of the Tanya Burr Cosmetics Selfie Story Collection?
